Batmitts
-
Batmitts have been tested over a 20 year period by some of the biggest names in the snowsport industry.  Batmitts continue to be tested by professional riders, up and coming young talent, as well as hardcore winter athletes who use these mitts over 160 days a year.  These mitts have been known to last upwards of 10-15 years, even after heavy abuse year after year.  We are happy to say that our mitts are manufactured in Denver, Colorado and all the parts and pieces used are from the USA.  We have found that materials made domestically surpass foreign imports in quality.
From the beginning, Batwaves intended Batmitts to be a "Backpack for Your Hand".  The mitts were designed according to the highest standards of the backpacking world.  Cordura was, and still is, the material of choice for the best packs made today; and it is the material you will find on Batmitts old and new.  Another hallmark of the Batmitt is their warm fleece liners. We use Polartec Fleece;  made by Malden Mills in the US.   Polartec is one of the most respected names in fleece today because their high quality fleece breathes, does not pill, and wicks away moisture.
Snowboarders and backcountry enthusiasts are stoked to wear these mitts.  Batmitts are radically rugged.

Wingers
- Wingers have been subject to the same intensive research and development as their Batmitt counterparts.  Wingers are similar to the Batmitt, but they have a few features that are highly appealing to many snowsport enthusiasts.  Wingers are designed with a slimmer profile (more appealing to a skier who uses poles for example).  Wingers use a lighter weight fabric (still Cordura) for more flexibility and greater touch perception.  And, as a result of a less involved design, the Winger is less expensive to make than the Batmitt and cheaper for you to buy.  Wingers are for the all-sport adventurer including skiers and mountain bikers.

Park Model- The Park Model was designed for our competitive park riders and is our most economical model.  Despite the killer price, these mitts are still top quality.  Made of 1000 denier Cordura, these mitts are more durable and warmer than any other park mitt on the market today.  They have a streamlined design similar to the Winger, but with a shorter forearm.  These mitts are designed to fit under your coat, in contrast to the over-the-coat design of Batmitts and Wingers.

Custom- We can also design any kind of mitt that you want.  We make custom trigger fingers, split fingers, or anything else you could want.  Custom mitts usually run around $150.00.  Contact us at support@batwaves.com for more info.
