Batmitts are almost here! It looks like we will have our first run of mitts ready in late June or early July. Our Backcountry Batmitts are every bit as good as you remember. We are using 1000 denier Cordura for the shell and the plushest Polartec fleece on the market for the liner. There was not a single detail overloooked on these things: down to every buckle, seam and thread. Tremendous testing and thought went into Batmitts over the past 20 years and we have taken that knowledge (with the help of our advisor Del Sanborn) and reproduced an exceptionally durable, warm and functional mitt. These mitts are made to preform reliably for many years, even for those hardcore snowboarders who ride 160 days a year. We also made of point of finding materials manufactured in the USA. We have found that materials made domestically are superior in quality to their oversees counterparts. We are happy to say every part of our mitts are made here in the USA. We are excited to announce that Batwaves is now being sold at another local Sandpoint retailer. Dethbox Skate Shop, owned by Matt Splat, just opened on May 1st. He has a selection of Batwaves stuff as well as skateboards, bikes & other items. Congratulations on your new store, Matt!
